Miller Electric As The 2022 AHA Presenting Sponsor
This year, Miller Electric participated as the presenting sponsor in the First Coast Heart Walk to raise awareness and funds to benefit the American Heart Association (AHA). The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s premiere event that brings communities together to raise funds and celebrate progress in the fight against this country’s No. 1 and No. 5 killers, heart disease and stroke. What makes this year stand out from others is the participation of over 500 of our employees, family and friends, and CEO, Henry Brown, chairing this year’s Heart Walk. The overwhelming support resulted in Miller Electric being the top fundraiser, raising over 160,000 dollars to support AHA.
Henry Brown was supported by the 2022 First Coast Heart Walk Executive Leadership Committee, which is comprised of community leaders passionate about the First Coast who are committed to improving the health of our community as a whole. The walk was held in Downtown Jacksonville on the morning of September 10th and was 3.1 miles long. It took participants through the roadways of downtown, starting and ending at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds.
